I just want to put this in print now so that I don't look like some kind of stalker FREAK if Robbie decides to tack a London show on the start/end of his Sweden trip. Also, I'm too shy to ask Nick to come down and visit me personally, so I'll just hint at wanting. Anyway, I am considering a frivolous vacation to London the 3rd week of April. I may or may not go but I am announcing my intent before any London shows (unlikely) get added to Robbie's trip. avoiding the appearance of being a stalker = exalting

And I will be laying my head near Piccadillo Circus. I have no idea where the Borderline is but I am guessing not far. PJ Harvey, Derek Trucks and oh boy, Bob Dylan will be in Olde London Towne same time as me.

Robbie - if there is any likelihood of you stopping for a gig in the UK, let me know asap, because we ( www.biddulphupinarms.com) will book you, pay you well, feed you and provide you with delightfully peaceful countryside accommodation and transfer you to and from any railways or airports you might need to get to or from.

And after an hour or two of that, I'll head down the street to seek out The Dirty Truth. Don't drink and drive.....

I'm canceling my Austin music pilgrimage planned for this April - will try again in the fall.
Seems a number of the Texas folk are going to be in the Pacific Northwest over the next couple/three months so I'll catch them then.
Seeing Richard Buckner in April Seeing Guy Clark and Slaid Cleaves in April Seeing Joe Ely and the Flatlanders in May.

I'm not completely giving up on my Austin pilgrimage, just rescheduling. I'm going to see who is playing in Austin in October and try and go then (if I'm not teaching, don't think I will be). I really want my husband to go with me since he missed the music pilgrimage to Memphis - had to go alone for that one (actually an anthropology conference was the reason for the trip, but I spent most of the time checking out music stuff). We've been talking about going to Austin for years. Talked about Memphis for years and I ended up going alone. Don't want to do that again.
