I've been "banned for life" from PayPal (whatever that means). I've always assumed those threats were a scam to try and get information out of you. After being told my PayPal account is limited, I use it and find no problem at all. So I just nuke the warnings now.

Year long 50 song writing and recording project culminating in successful release of 50-vc Doberman. Family uprooted and moved to the Big Apple including new schools and artistic adventure. Old blue website wiped clean and in it's place, a new, all suites, two pager personally, ernestly and frequently and what does he get? wifey?Aren't you a little old to be sniffing glue?

Duvi, I am sure that Chris probably did violate something or someone using Paypal and thusly has probably justly been "banned for life." Somewhere in the fine print it says you can't use Paypal to purchase or accept payment for soiled clothing and/or bodily fluids.
And I think it's the phthalates that got to our MyteWade.

Hmmmmn. If 'Wifey' does contain phthalates, I believe my reaction may have contravened findings in recent scientific studies.

I just bought the downloads. However, I'm not savvy when it comes to technical things. Is there a way to burn the MP3 files onto a CD?

I used iTunes to rip CDs and it works fine.

I just downloaded the Dobies into My Music, opened my CD burner, used the "browse" function to locate the files and burned 'em onto three CDs.

I'm halfway into this and lots of times it has become background music and I haven't really paid attention, but I love it! Grant's vocal on Word Up is amazing!!! I just love this whole concept. I love the freedom it seems to have given, well, everyone. Playful with a capital P. Three and half hours of genre bending music for $35 bucks? Hell yeah. I can't listen to this stuff fast enough.

i am listening a few songs at a time - pretending it is four new cd's, not one big one. so far i love it all but my very favorite moment is the ending of 'irreplaceable.' question: did i miss it on another thread, or does anyone here know what '50-vc. doberman' means? i am baffled and really want to know.

In the comments on the home page Robbie sez "The album title is a pretty meaningless reference to a Texas comedian called Mincemeat who had a bit with a Japanese guy trying to buy a Doberman." Woof!

Was there anything in the download that had the set list, descriptions and lineups, that are on the Doberman link off the home page? I mighta missed it. A printable version would sure be handy for reference, particularly when you're dealing with a mess of songs.

A printable version would sure be handy for reference, particularly when you're dealing with a mess of songs. The notes on the Doberman page are printable. Just make sure you go all the way to the bottom before right-clicking and printing or you won't get the whole thing. Ours required 20 pages. Having this stuff printed out does help deal with all those songs. I've been writing notes on the printout, such as "TERRIBLE!" for "Never Been Hit"and "sublime" for Coastal Girls.
