busgaljan would have been on this hours ago. Richardson: deid. Not a brilliant actress, almost certainly got where she was through nepotism and good looks. Like Paris Hilton. Still, good excuse for the BBC to inflate the tragedy into 'a British disaster', as though The Queen had just been found guilty of bum-raping Alan Rickman with a Nazi sword.

I wonder how the Redgrave Family feels knowing that from now unto eternity they will frequently be mentioned in the same breath as Sonny Bono.

I wonder how the Redgrave Family feels knowing that from now unto eternity they will frequently be mentioned in the same breath as Sonny Bono. I thought there was yet another celebrity ski mishap death around the same time as Sonny ... there was a joke (dark humor) about a ransom letter being found signed by "The Trees" ... but I have a better idea ... I'm going to start an itinerate ice cream franchise and call it Dark Humor. I wonder if Chas. Adams beat me to it?

Andy Ranchhand, you don't mean that!
Peej just joined the board. Now he should feel particularly bad about making his woman learn to ski. But I guess anyone could fall at any time.
But I wonder if Robbie saw any actors like actually cry. That's the story I want to hear.

Don't go to Tremblant ... go to Mont Blanc ... the owner's son gave me instructions while skiing down the hill in front of me BACKWARDS ... Hmmm ... but the owner had something to do with Madoff's ponzi scheme so maybe that's not such a good idea. Mont Blanc is near Tremblant though.

RIP Space BatWe hardly knew ye. We hope you went quickly, as opposed to being belted by gamma rays and turning into some evil, mutant super bat intent upon destroying Earth.

Boy, Natasha Richardson's been dead for half an hour and no one's posted it yet? This never would have happened on the old board! Well, considering that it was a foregone conclusion and by 8:03, it was already on every website and news broadcast on the planet, it seemed unnecessary.

We're a tad more practical in the states. Over here, the Today show is frantically reassuring Americans that we won't die of a freak head injury.

Not a brilliant actress, almost certainly got where she was through nepotism and good looks. Apparently, you have Richardson confused with Drew Barrymore.

Jade GoodyFamous for....being famous. And annoying. Death doesn't change that, although she displayed a more welcome concern for those that she left behind in her last days.

I was reading about her today (two obits in the same paper ... one seemingly in world news!) ... she was being compared to Princess Di ... Lord knows even Sir Elton and Papa al Fayed weighed in ... I liked the idea of her calling the Bollywood star the wrong name (and being labeled a racist for it) plus thinking Rio di Janeiro was a person ... guess I'm too smart for my own good.
