What should one imbibe whenever Fergie's daughters come on with their weird headgear ... why couldn't they just have worn fascinators? I complained about Fergie not even getting an invite but my wife felt that was for the best as she'd likely have just made a spectacle of herself. The hat already has its own Facebook page. Sorry. Back to the weather....

We're supposed to hit a scorching high of 71 degrees here in Seattle today. Sun might come out too.

It was supposed to be another 85-90ish "feels like 100" day here, and so far it's 73, overcast, and 73% humidity. THANK YOU JESUS.

At work yesterday, I came genuinely close to heat stroke. It was awesome. That sounds swell! Did you stop sweating? I always thought that had to be a horrible sensation. The sweating was non-stop all day (imagine a sponge on the end of a garden hose), but around 3pm I began to feel distinctly delirious. I had enough of my wits about me to think 'uh-oh' and to stop for a bit in some shade and chug a lot of ice cold water. I could tell that a warp core breach was imminent.

It hit 107 on my car's thermometer at about 2PM this afternoon.
Should be really comfortable inside sold-out Maxwell's tonight for Fountains of Wayne. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll show up with an actual fountain.
